Happy Monday everyone!
Every so often, I like to compile a list of my current favorite bloggers for two reasons: to show some love for the hard work they put into their website and to also give them a mention in case some of you haven’t heard of these bloggers before. Some are repeats I’ve mentioned before and some are new mentions. Although my own blogging has been sporadic lately due to personal reasons, not a week goes by that I don’t take the time to catch up on my own favorite blogs. I’m always one to preach the saying “be sure to give credit when credit is due” and the ladies listed below should be credited ten times over for the amount of hard work and dedication that has been put into their blogs.
Let’s get started;
BOURBON, LIPSTICK AND STILETTOS: I mean, are you evennnnn surprised? Lindsay keeps her shit real and is responsible for making roughly 13% of my paychecks disappear from items listed on her blog. Notorious for keeping it real, BL&S is a breath of fresh air to read weekly. I love that she is starting to incorporate more fashion into her blog as we seem to have similar styles and I’m always on the hunt for new pieces to add to my wardrobe. Lindsay also offers freelance and technical writing, check out this page for more information.
SOUTHERN CURLS & PEARLS: Although Caitlyn’s blog is one of the “bigger ones” that I tend to poke out regarding affiliate links and nondisclosure – I always end up going back because her picture quality is out of this freaking world! Although 9/10 I can not afford a single thing mentioned on her blog, for a fashion blogger – I love that her style has stayed semi-normal and is still stuff that I would see myself wearing. She recently took a trip to Lake Louise that gave me major fomo and I’ve already blown through two of the books on her recent book review. If you’re looking for a blog to drool over amazing pictures of designer handbags, this is definitely the one for you.
JASMINE MARIA: Jasmine’s blog has definitely been one of my favorites to watch grow over the past few years. That girl has hustled hard along with putting a lot of hours and effort into her blog resulting in great success. She is also one of the best self-taught makeup artists that I’ve seen and offers some great tips – how to color correct anyone? We both have oily skin so I always like reading up on what face products for her in hopes they will for me as well. This past weekend was her birthday so be sure to show her blog some extra love!
COMMUNNIKAIT: Kait’s blog is my go-to for finding delicious looking plant based meals that I know B will enjoy as well – and how amazing does this spinach dip look?! If you’re planning a trip to Bali, I highly recommend reading some of her recent posts here, here and here. Kait is a blogger who puts a lot of great information in her travel posts and ensures they are jam packed with accurate information to help make planning your next trip easier. She also posts light hearted content such as 5 on Friday posts and some of my favorite dressing room diaries. This past weekend, I used her pore strip hack and it worked perfectly!
BUT FIRST, COFFEE: If you’re looking for a light hearted blog filled with amazing and random hacks that you will actually use – Kallie’s is the one to read. She offers great budget tips include things to cut and the best sites to buy inexpensive clothes (heck yea!). She also incorporates posts on how to help grow your social media, including the best girl boss hashtags to use and how to find to find local ones. I’ve been following Kallie’s blog for a while now but just recently started reading it religiously and have been really enjoying the fresh content she puts out!

THE SKINNY CONFIDENTIAL: Although I consider TSC as more of a “website” than a blog, I absolutely love it. Lauryn pumps out a lot of content so it’s hard to keep up with but I enjoy checking in weekly. I love how raw her blog is – if you’re following Lauryn on Snapchat, you’ll know that she is the exact same. Anytime she starts raving about a product, I have to try it out myself. Her exclusive Facebook group is also great for connected with other like minded ladies around the world. They offer great advice and laughs at the same time! Lauryn is frequently sharing tips on how to excel your own brand -be sure to check out her Podcast as well!
